Never take 20 credits...its not good for your health

Headaches. Migranes. Screaming. Blurred vision. Depression. Stress. Memory loss. These are just some of the words that describe how I am now feeling and some of the symptoms that I am starting to notice. I think Tech PETE alone would probably be enough. If I knew how many assignments we would have in there, I would just become a part-time student and just take 3 credits. But noooo, I thought I would challenge myself this semester and it has just turned into chaos. I am taking 17 credits here and 3 credits at CCAC right now. I really do not even know where to start on projects. Some days, I just want to drop out of school and flip burgers at McDonalds for the rest of my life. It seems like the only option. I'd rather take 6 years to finish and take 12 credits per semester. I mean you only live once right? So why rush school, relax and have fun...that's my outlook for my upcoming semesters. Oh , Happy st. Patrick's day by the way.

  1. Taking 20 credits in one semester would most definetely cause the symptoms in which you described. I have never taken more than 18 so I do not know how you feel. 18 is enough, I could not imagine taking anymore than that. I agree that you should enjoy life but taking 6 years to graduate at 12 credits a semester is too much. Maybe take 6 per year so things do not get too hectic. Also instead of flipping burgers at McDonalds if things do not work out, maybe be a toll booth worker, I heard that was even more exciting. Obviously that is not your future because you are an intelligent individual. Good luck on your projects for Tech PETE. Odds are we will be partners and will suffer together. Oh well, it could be worse...Happy St. Patrick's Day.
